Brand new Mustard Bikes tail tidy for the 2019 onwards Yamaha YZF-R3 & 2020 onwards MT-03.

This fender eliminator will refine your bikes sleek and purposeful look. The tail tidy mounts your numberplate up close to the undertail removing the unsightly stock item.
This part has been CNC cut from lightweight 3mm aluminium for maximum strength combined with minimum weight and finished in a tough satin black powdercoat for a durable finish.
The fender eliminator mounts right where the old fender was mounted. No modifications are needed to get it to fit because it's been designed to use the original mounting points of the OEM fender. All the installation hardware is supplied in stainless steel, and a step by step install guide is supplied to help you get it fitted without any issues.
A white LED number plate light is integrated into the design to light up your number plate and it's included in the price. So you don't have to modify your wiring this item has a link wire with the correct plug, making it plug and play.

Four options are available:

254mm option: Uses the OEM indicators and fits plates up to approximately 258mm wide.
Aftermarket option: Uses10mm hole mounts to fit most after market indicators. Mounts spaced 160mm apart.
No mount option: Has the indicator mounts removed for use with integrated tail lights.
No mount option usually has a 2-3 week lead time as they are manufactured to order.

Postage
Domestic Postage:
We use Australia post for all our postage options. They are reliable, trackable and will deliver to any address (unlike some other postal services).
Within Australia You can get free postage with Australia Post regular parcel post, or you can opt for express post for an extra $6 per item.
International Postage:
International Postage is available at a flat rate of $30 plus $10 for each additional item.
International purchases are sent with Australia Post International Air mail. This service provides tracking for most countries. In some cases tracking may not be available until the item reaches the destination country, or for some destinations may not be provided at all.
All items sent international are marked at the purchase price (excluding postage cost). It is an offence to incorrectly state the purchase price.
Customers are responsible for any import duties and taxes that may be applicable to importing this item into their country. Mustard Bikes cannot be held responsible for these costs and unclaimed items will only be refunded minus the postage costs once the item returns to us.

This options suits plates from SA, WA, NT, New Zealand, UAE, Belgium, Holland, S Africa, Phillipines, Russia, Israel, France, Brazil, Norway, Malaysia, Spain, Singapore, Colombia, and Belarus.
Aftermarket option: Uses 10mm hole mounts to fit most after market indicators. Mounts spaced 160mm apart.
This option is for use with after market indicators. Customers should make sure that their indicators have sufficient length to clear the width of their number plate.
No mount option: Has the indicator mounts removed for use with integrated tail lights.
No mount option usually has a 2-3 week lead time as they are manufactured to order. This option is for use with integrated tail lights.

Reviews
Good but with worthy notes
By: Will on 8 March 2025Does what it says but some notes for the manufactures\sales that would be useful to modify/let people know. For the MT03 2021 (can't speak for the r3 but I assume its the same), the hole in the frame the wires pass through is not the same hole as the wiring passes through from the factory, and the new hole needs widening slightly to fit the plugs or you need to cut and rewire the factory plugs through the hole. This isn't something that is in the control of mustard bikes but is something people buying need to know about in case they don't have the tools to do it. The nylon spacers provided also have the inner holes drilled a little too narrow by a few mm, so they don't fit and you need to drill them out, you can install the unit without them but its a bit sketchy. The spacer width for the indicator mounts needs revising as well. Stock indicators 'fit' without the spacers with little play, but with the spacers they are a royal pain in the ass to get on, and definitely do not need to be that tight for the purpose they serve. Besides all that, if you can do the modifications required, it looks great, is sturdy, powder coat seems good quality, and is overall good. Just would expect a little higher quality in the design given you're paying $130 for essentially a few small pieces of steel cut and bent with an LED bolted on, so I was assuming most of that cost went to R&D. Overall still worth it I think, you'll likely run into most of these issues with most of these products online and its still decent value.

Thanks for the feedback Will. We'll pass these on for review. Regarding the indicator spacers, this is a common challenge on all Yamaha models. This product would probably benefit from a video install guide (it was designed prior to us implementing the video install guides) to help with some of the issues you mentioned, including the indicator install. Doing a video guide may be something we will do in the future, as we have gone back to film some of our older products since implementing the install guides.

Tail Tidy looks awesome!

The guys at Rocky Yamaha were able to install the kit no worries to replace the hideous OEM tail. The bike now looks super clean and the quality of the Mustard Tail Tidy is spot on.
